Who is your Photographer?
Hi I'm Mikayla, but you can call me Mik!
I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in Lititz PA. I then lived in Jacksonville NC, married to my high school sweetheart, while he served in the USMC. We now live back in PA with our German Shepherd puppy. I love wearing boots, spending time outdoors, and going down the back roads feeling the breeze in the air. I'm a very down to earth type of girl who loves to live in the moment, but also freeze the moment so that it can last forever!
The Reason I'm Here
I love taking pictures of any moment that I am given the opportunity to photograph. To me, it's not just about seeing the moment and taking a picture of it to look back on - it's about intentionally taking the picture that also makes you feel the emotion behind the moment. This way, when you look back at your photos, it's almost as if you're there again. And that's why I love doing what I do, because I get to create art and freeze time for your memories, while you are present in the moment. I am here for you.

What is MikCollective's Style?
My style is a mix of traditional posed photography, while also pulling in some documentary moments. I love capturing the in between moments of a pose. This is where you get the true and genuine interactions that make for beautiful photos. Don't get me wrong, I will always take those posed dreamy photos as well.
What is MikCollective's Look?
My "look" is true to color, with a little warmth. I love bringing out the greens in photos while also making sure all photos have a natural feel.
My Kind of Wedding/Session
My kind of wedding/session is the one that's real, fun, and whole hearted. The couples and families who are naturally in each others presence and each moment are the ones I want to capture.
After all - Real, Fun, & Wholehearted - is my goal.
